The papers include printed material collected by Hunt pertaining to World Wars I and II. There are twelve color posters issued by the U.S. War Department between 1942 and 1945, two hundred and nineteen black and white picture collages, Illustrated Current News, Dec 7, 1942-May 11, 1945, published by the Illustrated Current News, Inc., New Haven, Connecticut, and a picture scrapbook containing magazine clippings from the wartime period. The papers also contain Hunt's four typewritten reminiscences: The Hunt Electric Company, Remember When, A Freshman at the University of Arkansas, 1927-1928, and The Worst Flood of the Century [1927].

Robert H. Hunt was born in 1909 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
